I have experience leading presentations with audiences of several hundred workshop attendees, small-group conversations CEO’s, and everything in-between. I’ve presented at international conferences like UX STRAT Asia, UX Strat Europe, and EPIC (the Ethnographic Praxis in Industry Conference), as well as domestic conferences like Midwest UX, and UX STRAT USA.
Pecha-Kucha at Ethnographic Praxis in Industry Conference on “Change and Agency Across Urban China” as reflected in how people dry things, November 2019
Presentation at Midwest UX on redesigning an in-home stroke rehabilitation system, September 2015 (slides are a bit wonky due to not capturing the in-built transitions and animations, but you can get the gist)
Pecha-Kucha at Ethnographic Praxis in Industry Conference on “China’s Informal Markets” and in particular how they come to life in large cities’ pedestrian overpasses and underpasses, October 2014
I love getting to share what my decade+ of experience in the field and working across different cultures has taught me, particularly in smaller group and classroom settings, and particuarly with folks who ask sharp questions. To date, I’ve had the privilege of lecturing at the Stanford d.school, MIT’s Sloan School of Business, Carnegie Mellon School of Design, IDEO’s Shanghai studio, Hong Kong University’s Faculty of Architecture, and beyond.
